Thanks to everyone who's responded so far. Hopefully we'll get more posts over time, but I thought I'd summarise the results to date:

82% in 'Whitecollar' occupations
30% in Information Technology (single biggest industry)

That was my first thought, but we have to consider that this poll is not very scientific. I would guess that more men are enthusiastic about cars in general and consequently more men visit this forum. My wife wouldn't even consider visiting an automotive forum for example, and frankly, my mother is the only other woman I know that even has an active "enthusiast" interest in cars. My dad was the ultimate car guy and mechanic by profession and I guess some of that rubbed off on the family. After he passed away, my mother sold most of his collection but still has the 68 Mustang California Special and the 66 Mustang convertible. Anyway, my point is simply that I would guess men are much more likely to hang out here than women so the poll isn't really random, although I admit it is interesting.
