NX F with Hood Scoop?

Nope, looks like crap. It works on hot hatches (like below, I think it's closer to this than the subaru above) and such because they're supposed to be showy/racy. A Lexus is supposed to be classy and this just kills it. Plus it wouldn't be functional in the NX as it has a water to air intercooler and the intake is far top right but enclosed.

^Welll if we're talking functional, there has been many air flow analysis made on the subject of hood scoops. What was found is the air flow is compressed which increased velocity but the flow is not laminar. So the scoop does not grab much of the air at all. These tests were done on older (70's hotrods) cars but the principle still applies. Think of it this way, look at F1 cars. the scoop is very high, away from the body and the opening is small with a large plenum. This is to grab cool, laminar air and slow the velocity.
But, I would bet that scoop was molded from or ripped from a subi. looks much too similar.
