Default Blue tooth

Is any one having issues with blue tooth 2017 NX200.
Mine has bee reset three times and still has to none manually connected when I get in car. It drops calls or ot switch call to the phone and there back to car. Dealer says they are opening case with manufacture but that was two weeks ago and have not heard back from them. Any one having similar problems or a fix?

what type of phone? have you completed all you updates for apps and operating systems? if you do not constantly update your iphone it will do this, even ios 11 is doing it too. androids don't seem to run into this as much but then again they don't have all the functionalities either

Deb,
Here's what i would try. Go to the menu & DELETE any phones in the list. Then start a new phone, turn on the SCAN feature in the VEHICLE FIRST, then turn on the scan in the phone, (blue tooth
scan). I've had to do this sometimes 2-3 times, in that order, so the 2 hand shake & see each other. You should get a code to put into the phone, or a NAME & make sure it's correct!! Even with the
SUV OFF, you should still be able to see the LEXUS name on your phone!! If not, it's not fully setup. Could be causing some, if not all of your problems. I had this somewhat w/ my 2016 NX base model, with my older Galaxy 5 phone. When I went to my 2017 NX F sport, it only took 2 times & the phone hooked up fine. When I got my Galaxy S8, it went right through and setup FIRST time. It's running
Android version 7, so see if this helps!? I can be sitting in my basement with my phone, SUV parked in the garage, turned off & my Bluetooth still says "LEXUS NX" If your doesn't do that,
something isn't setup right! Start over & make sure you do ALL the steps in that order. Good luck.

Default NX blue

I do not have anything that says delete and or scan. I can only remove the phone from the car. I can also unpair it from the car. The dealer has done this for me three times already in the past couple of months. My does not have the navigation in
it . But I did remove the phone from the car and repair everything and made sure the codes matched. I will see what happens and keep you posted. Thanks for your info.

Sorry! I didn't see that you don't have the navigation in your NX! Hopefully they can get this figured out for you.

When pairing the phone, are you allowing your text messages to transfer?

Your issue sounds like a classic case of too many texts on your phone. I've seen the problems you've mentioned and for some reason it's always a Samsung. When you allow to car access to your texts (so the car will read them to you), it pulls every single text on your phone to the car. Just the way Androids work. However most people never delete their texts, and Samsung usually saves 1000 per person. They add up quick. So with all of those texts it just overwhelms the system in the Lexus.

So you have 2 options.
1. Keep texts trimmed down to about 40-50 per person.
2. Don't allow the car to read/access your texts. This should eliminate the problem completely.

Default Thanks

I have my messages turned off. It is just to busy for me. But I have been complaining to dealer. They
actually took the car from me and did a lot if diagnostics on it. They ended up doing a reset on it. So far it is working fine and haven't had any more crazy issues with it. Just hope it stays like that.

Thanks
