Trunk misaligned NX200T 2016
Hey guys!
Need your advice.
Just yesterday I noticed that the gaps on the left and right on the trunk do not match. I took the ruler and on the left 1 cm gap (0.4 inches), and on the right 0.7 cm (0.27 inches).
It's very strange because the car has never been in an accident. The liftgate was never removed.
Do you think this is normal and acceptable or I should go to the dealer and ask them to fix the trunk door somehow?
Thank you.

Took it to the dealer and they photographed the rear and measured the gaps.
They said it was within tolerance.
I suspect its the fact the trunk is motorised. Its under tension from the motor when closed. The trunk is pressed against rubber stoppers. Any variation to the tension on either side gives a slight uneven gap.
So much for Lexus flawless panel gaps.
