Default Radio Problems

I can not get any sound from AM or FM stations, their information shows on the dash: text, message etc but there is no sound. What button do I need to check or uncheck? The XM and everything else works okay.

I have a 2017 NX 200T

Have you tried a hard reset? Unplug your battery. Will force the radio to reboot.

On both my former Rav4 and current 15 NX I've done a reboot by pushing in the radio power button and holding. I did it just today as neither of my phones would pair and refused to so manually. After the reboot both phones paired up as normal. This might be a good intermediate step before disconnecting the battery. Good luck.

This seems so odd. I assume that everything else (XM, Bluetooth, USB, etc.) works as expected. I know sound settings are unique for each option, but I've never noticed if volume is also. I know it seems obvious and you have no doubt already verified that the volume is up, but ....

We have an issue with our RX. The AM reception is very poor (I know. I've heard all the comments about AM, but my lovely wife likes to listen to talk radio). Lexus tells us it's OK, but I think there's an issue with the antenna. I'm wondering if you do, too. I'd consider taking it in to make them tell you what's wrong, if it's convenient.

I have this same issues on my '17 FSport. It only happened about 10 times in the last year and 12300 miles. The ONLY way to get am/fm to work again is the stop the car, turn it off, then turn it on again.

I have address this problems many times (with videos) but Lexus didn't or can't fix it yet (along with my back up camera problems)

You can reset the system without turning off the car by pressing and holding the volume **** until you see the screen reset.

I was informed that problems can be "recorded" by the system by pressing the Menu button 10 times. Then the dealer can get the data off the system and investigate.
