Default NX F Sport ride power and handling

hi NX owners. i have a quick question for you. i am looking at possibly taking delivery of a 2018 NX F Sport on friday. they are delivering it to my house. and i am wondering if the ride is a deal breaker or not? i currently have a 2015 RX 350 non F Sport, so the ride isn't bad at all. but i had a 2017 non F Sport NX as my last loaner and i like the smaller size and handling along with the better gas millage. any input will definitely be appreciated . and also, how do you find the power to be? is it adequate?

thanks

I have not driven an F Sport and really like the ride and seats on our car. I’ve read numerous complaints on here about the ride being harsher and the seats being too hard on the F Sport. Definitely drive one before purchase to see if you like it or not. It seems like some people really like the ride and seats, others, not so much.

I’m very happy with the ride of my 2017 NX F-Sport. It is definitely smooth enough while being sportier than my 2011 RX 450h. Not sure that helps.

Everyone have different tolerance for a "sportier" ride.
I love my '16 NX F sport.

When I had an X3 for a loaner a long time ago, I couldn't wait to get out of it. Talk about a harsh ride and el cheapo interior.

Power is good, but gotta have it in Sport mode for the extra pep.

I've had mine for a couple of weeks and I actually came from a 2015 RX 350 too. I don't miss the size too much, but it's noticeable. I wouldn't say the smaller size is a deal breaker, it's more narrow and a bit shorter and the cargo room is smaller. It's adequate for my family as it's just my wife and son. I really enjoy the updated tech in the new car, but mine is a 2017 NX, the 2018 is even more updated so that's a plus. The power and exhaust note is noticeably different, as the 6 sounds more throaty upon acceleration. The NX is a bit more buzzy in sound and a little more hesitation in the low end in regular more, it picks up a bit in sport. I plan on doing some mods so I hope to see some power increase in the future. Overall I'm really enjoying my new car and am totally happy with my purchase. Congrats on the new ride and enjoy!!!

Also noticed that the stereo sounds better in the RX, but now sure if that's super important. It was just another detail that I noticed coming from the RX.

Power is enough for the size of the vehicle, and very convenient on tight spaces you can park anywhere, and very easy to maneuver trough traffic. I had a non-F 15 now a F-sport 17 and will trade the wife's rav4 for a 18, we love the NX.
