Just bought a 2018 NX300. Ordered a full set of wheels with winter tires from Costco.ca (I'm in GTA, Canada)
Now I know it's good to have TPMS sensors for safety blah blah blah but the question is - Apart from the warning light is there also a loss of some functionality.
Specifically:
1) When the TPMS warning is on, does the display screen stop showing other info? Can you still scroll and see the different options?
2) Does the TPMS warning disable some safety feature like Traction Control?
Trying to save about $300 for 4 additional sensors and programming. I don't want to switch sensors from the all-seasons as I'm afraid they'll get damaged.
If you ever had the TPMS warning go on in your NX, please post what else happened with it.
