I just got my 2018 nx300. I noticed the memory seat buttons didn't illuminate when the headlight is on. Is it normal? I really had a hard time to set the memory seat when outside is dark. Can someone kindly confirm this for me? Thanks.

They don’t illuminate but you can program your keyfob to remember your seat, mirror, and temperature settings so that they adjust to your preferences when you use your key.
1. Door closed
2. After setting your preferences, press and hold
memory setting button you want (1, 2, or 3).
3. Press and hold lock or unlock on your keyfob. Two beeps will sound to confirm.

Also can vehicle settings be set specifically by each keyfob (door lock and lighting settings)?
Thanks in advance for any help.

it is weird. I tried to set my memory seat , it seems not remembeing my 2nd keyfob after using 1st keyfob. The problem is the 1st key fob always overwrite the settings of 2nd keyfob when you use 2nd keyfob and later switch to 1st keyfob, then setting will be always on 1st keyfob regardless which keyfob you use it later. The 2nd keyfob only works when you press memory setting button and continue using 2nd keyfob. Dose anybody know where did I miss for setting memory seat?

But I am still not able to find out if vehicle settings can be set specifically by each keyfob. My 09 Acura TSX was able to do this for driver 1&2, it will be disappointed if the 2018 vehicle is not able to achieve this after 9 years of technology.

Pole Position

Each key can be tied to different memory positions.
Example, your own position can be stored in Position 1, your wife's in position 2, son's in position 3.
Then your keycard can be linked to position 1, your wife's key fob to position 2 and the 2nd key fob to position 3 for your son. Assuming you have 2 key fobs and 1 key card for a total of 3 keys.
