Default Recent Purchase Experience for Lexus NX300

Would appreciate any experience with Lexus NX300 purchases recently. What sort of discount were you able to negotiate? Thank you.

Hi, I just leased a 2018 NX base for my wife, cap cost just a little under 40k, $220 BW for 48 months residue of $20300.00. I am in Manitoba!

Lease was coming to an end on our '15 RX450h. We took advantage of the "last 3 month's payment waived". Went in for service on our RX and got a brand new NX300 as a loaner. My recollection of driving the NX when it first came out was unrefined, not even close to the RX450h experience.

This time it was very different! Long story short, they fed us the line about Lexus lowering deliveries to shorten the inventory. "We only have $2500 between our invoice and sticker", etc. We were going to specify the burgundy with the caramel interior and they located one and were about to do a dealer trade. At the last minute we decided to drive the the one 300h that they had in stock. Loved it. The h isn't available in the color combination we wanted, so another dealer trade was researched. I said "of course, for the right incentives, we could take the one you have in stock" (Pearl White, which my wife doesn't like). We settled on $2,000 cap-cost reduction with windshield tint thrown in. Drove it off the lot yesterday, and love it so far. The only regret is paying for the service on the 450h and then turning it in.

Windshield tint, huh? Got me surious. ENTIRE windshield or just at the top? Windshield full tint is illegal in all states, far as I know. Maybe it's different in Ca.

I was thinking of trading my 2015 NX 300h on a 2018 200T. That was until I looked at today’s gas cost between regular and the premium fuel required by the 200T. In my area there is over a 60 cent price difference between regular and premium fuel.

With that in mind, and the over 30 MPG I get with the 300h, no way will I be buying any car that takes premium fuel, let alone the 200T.
To those that say you can use regular fuel in a premium required vehicle I say I follow the recommended fuel in my vehicles like I do the tire air pressure.

Sorry, my profile didn't get updated. Relocated to Tucson last June. Further, the tint in question is a ceramic tint that doesn't block much light, but definitely blocks the heat..

First offer was $750 off list, which was rejected. They next came back with an additional $500 off, again rejected and we left the dealership. Called sales rep back the next day and said if you can match the TrueCar web site price for the car optioned the way we wanted you had a deal, which they did match.
