Arrow Anyone replace the shift ****? *Replaced shift *****: Pics inside

Been looking around and happened to stumble on the GS JDM F SPORT shift ****. It's leather and looks pretty close to what we have, except it's got nice stitching on it.

Anyone replace theirs by chance?

On lexus boutique they also have a perforated leather one as well but I prefer the non perforated one. Pics below. 1st pic of stock nx interior, 2nd picture of shift **** I want to put on. 3rd picture perforated f sport.

Found a nice picture of the punched leather one for an NX.

Side by side. Looks sweet and completely plug and play. Now have to decide if I want the punched leather or smooth. The smooth looks cleaner to me. Wish they didn't cheap out on so much on this vehicle..lol Oh well. Little things make the difference.

The stitching is a nice touch.

Edit x3..lol

Ended up purchasing the smooth version. Believe it's from the GS 2016+. I went and looked at the steering wheel and though it's leather, it's not the perforated leather like that on the F sport. So decided against the perforated shift ****. Plus when those get dirty it's a pita to clean all the tiny holes.

Pics of what it looks like:

This is coming from Japan so won't have it for about 10-15 days. I'll post pictures once installed. Should look sweet, and it's a nice subtle mod.

Thanks for sharing.
I agree the smooth surface is easier to clean than the perf. one where it'll collect dust. Post up some after pictures when you get it

After looking at your picture, I need to replace my eco/sport round bottle cap

Will do! Guy is on vacation until tomorrow so it will probably be about two weeks before I get the shift ****. Those pictures above are what I found on the internet. Just noticed that both dials are different. Our's is a 2018 so it's that darker metal looking ****. I'll snap a picture when I get home/install in a couple weeks. The radio buttons match the dial on ours which is nice. I have seen pictures of the older ones and that isn't the case.

Got the shift **** yesterday. VERY fast shipping from Japan. Super impressed by the seller. Legit OEM Lexus part.
They blurred out the part number on the listing which I am guessing so people don't search and find it cheaper.
Part number is: 33504-30560-C1

I paid $102 shipped from Japan. The cheapest I could find it online was $99 of lexus of Kenndal and they were charging $13 for shipping. So getting it from Japan was cheaper for me.

My wife is out of town until Friday so I can't install the shift **** on her NX. But it definitely is nicer looking than the one that came on the NX. The light gray stitching is a nice touch and will go with the rest of the stitching in the vehicle. See pictures below.

Shift **** installed.

Completely plug and play. Takes all of 7 seconds to do. Looks nicer and more refined! Definitely recommend if you have luxury package, it just a subtle touch that should have been there from the factory. Stitching matches shift boot/steering wheel and rest of exposed stitching 100%

I just got mine and it looks great. Thanks to your posts Nigel, I keep spending more money on my NX, I did the F-Sport pedals after I saw your post and now the shift ****. Kidding aside, thanks for posting all the things you are doing to your wife's NX.

haha! Nice! Looks good! Amazing what a shift **** with stitching can do to the interior and make it look a little more upscale! My wife keeps saying stop doing stuff to her car..hahah She doesn't get it. She didn't notice the pedals when I did it or the mud flaps. She does like the shift **** and illuminated cup holders though.

Now you need the illuminated cup holder inserts! Love looking at it at night. Makes the interior upscale, but they are expensive.

Some people have used Angel eyes as illuminated cup holders.

Pull the boot straight down. It will unclip from the shift kn0b. Then just unscrew the shift kn0b. should take you about 15 seconds to do.

Thank you
