USB port not working in cold weather?

I have a 2016 nx f sport. The past 2 winters, The USB port not reading the stick when it’s cold out until the cabin warms up.

Today been cold here in nyc with temperature in the 30s. It acted up again.

Anyone here experience this same problem?

Most likely this is not the car but the usb stick. If it gets very cold or very hot it will not work properly. Try bringing the usb stick into the house and then in the morning take it out and put it in the car. I bet it will work just fine.

u are right. It’s the stick itself that won’t function in cold weather. Lol.
