NX takes forever to warm up

I had the same problem with the windows fogging up in auto mode. Also, my 2017 vibrates like crazy when the AC is on during cold weather in auto mode, so auto mode is out for me during the winter.
What I do is push the auto button and then use the selector to move it to floor and windshield. Hit the AC button to turn the AC off. I don’t touch it all winter after that and the fan motor auto regulates up and down to get the cabin to the set temperature. The windows don’t fog up since I have it set to feet and windshield and it doesn’t vibrate AS bad since I have the AC off. Seems to warm up within 5 minutes or so going this route.

Im pretty sure the 2015 was known for the vibrations but i thought it would be revised in the 16 and up models. I experience most of the vibrations when the A/C is on or when you let your foot fully off the brake pedal and just let it coast.

Thats exactly how to reproduce it in my 2017. I’ve had it at the dealer three times about it. They call it normal so I gave up.

So i went to Lexus today to get the cabin air filter. It was $52.44 which i thought was a bit pricey for just a filter but there is a lot of airflow coming out warming up the car in minutes. I’d like to thank everyone for the help and suggestions. If anyone is going to buy a cabin air filter i don’t recommend the “Fram Fresh Breeze” filters. They are suppose to eliminate all odours from outside but all it does it block airflow.

According to the Fram website the NX uses the same filter as my wife’s 2013 Highlander. You could just get one at the Toyota dealer for much cheaper. $52 is insane.

I just called another lexus dealer in my city and they were selling them for $32. I also called another toyota dealership and they also sell them for that price, I will go to a different dealer next time since i’ve already put in the filter.
