Moonroof Vibration
I have the worst luck with Lexus moonroofs. My CT developed a vibration and in the end the moonroof motor had to be changed under warranty.
Now the NX moonroof groans and vibrates in the vertical plane on initial opening and final closing. For the last 2 years they keep lubing the rails and seals. It works for several weeks then it starts up again.
Initially was intermittent but now happening regularly particularly when the temperature is hot, >30 Celsius.
Any thoughts. Last year of warranty.

Dealer finally agreed all the lube in the service centre was not going to stop the vibration.
Going in for 3 days to strip roof liner and likely replace one of the moonroof motors.

Kudos to the service dept for persisting.
Moonroof stripped down.
Requires a new motor and moonroof housing.
Second Lexus, second moonroof motor replacement.
Fortunately, still under warranty.
Hate to think the cost outside of warranty.
