Like you, I was good with my Samsung 7s but right after switching to 8s it started to act up. Someone said or I read in another post about deleting all my text messages, I was reluctant because I like to archive my conversations and I had them carried over from the previous phone. I did this along with deleting - re-synching my phone and its been trouble free for several months. I also allowed bluetooth text when I re-synched and that not causing an issue either. Its probably dumb luck.
