Lease Warranty Requirements
How much of a difference does it make to take the NX to the dealer every 5k? If you read the manual it doesn’t say it’s required per say but I’m just wondering what everyone’s experience has been with warranty claims.
Is Lexus picky about your service record? Does leasing make any difference? Are they going to ding me when I turn the vehicle in if I don’t have every 5k service documented?

At our dealer the 1st 2 services were free. The 1st was at around 7,500 mi., more of a general inspection. The 2nd was around 15K and included an oil change. I found that my dealer was reasonable for oil changes so I have no issue bringing tot them As far as other services are concerned I'd bring it to my local garage and keep the receipts. Since I've hardly ever had a warranty issue there have never been any problems with the dealer fixing things. No, they don't care whether or not you have services done with them. When you turn it in they will most likely wholesale the vehicle out, never to be seen again in your area,
