I don't think that's available on the NX. Oddly enough, our 2004 RX was the last Lexus we had with those illuminated door cups. I'm not even sure they do that on any Lexus models any more. Perhaps on the LS or UL version of the ES?
I agree with the "no rice" thought. I wonder if it'll work without being connected to the window switches.
Then you can't manipulate the color or level.
I would seriously buy this JUST to try it if they came in the tan color option. Or if our interior was black, but I think it would look stupid if the interior door handles are black when the rest of the outside trim is tan... arg.
Found this picture: Not sure how it looks.
Wonder if these are compatible with the 2018 NX300...
The face lifted have the same cover panel and same window switches, though now with metal trim.
I'm thinking about my own version with only white light (to match the rest) using small LEDs and connecting to hhe button lights somehow.

I'm contemplating buying a a spare tan door cover and then modding a set of the led panels and incorporating them into the tan switch. I think it would look better honestly. I've seen the pictures of the back of the LED version. If I carefully trimmed that piece off comes forward and integrated it on the stock piece rather than simply an entire black panel it would only be that small part with the LED.
One thing I like about these is that depending on which one you look at there are between 4-7 colors. Some even let you adjust the brightness by three levels. I think white would look the best honestly. Doesn't have to be super bright but just some ambient lighting might be ok?
I'm probably going to buy them if nothing else just to try it...

I'm going to order from seller 1. Only because of the description and the highest feedback out of the entire group. Though they are all probably coming from the same exact place...lol

I'm thinking more of something like a 3mm flat top LED and to drill a hole in the top of the handle bowl. No real point of buying a $100 set just to cut it up.

Apparently Lexus used to do this on certain models. You can kinda see how this was done via the how to and it might help you. I'd be eager to see this project through if you start. As long as you get wiring sorted out I think it would be an extremely clean install... I know our w211 has a tiny amber LED in each door handle. It's hardly noticeable honestly. I wish it were brighter but same concept.
EDIT:
I'll update once I get the above inserts. If nothing else at least other people can see how they work, if they work well, or if it's tacky. Hoping it's not the latter. Ordered last night so it will probably take a couple weeks to get here from China.
