Question How To Mirror tap the 2016 NX200t

I have this model and bought a new Escort Passport

...this design only has power in the center console. The mirror does not have an exposed cable and is auto dimming with programmable buttons.
Will the MirrorTap MTX-1015 work and what wires do I tap into? Thanks in advance for any input. The pic loaded upside down?

I recently installed the Mirrortap in my new to me 2016NX. I have an Escort Max II and a Blendmount also. I was worried I was going to have to buy a new Blendmount as it came from my old Infiniti FX35. But, since both mirrors have a stem, I found the Blendmount I had already worked., so if you already own a Blendmount with a stem attachment, I would try it for fitment first. Otherwise, Blendmount is a great company with fantastic customer service and their website is really reliable for determining the right mount for you.
I found this post helpful.

The Mirrortap I used was the same one I used in my Infiniti. The only real difference in Mirrortap models is going to be the type of plug your radar detector uses and the length of the cord. Per the Mirrortap website you are listing the correct model for the NX for Escort Radar Detectors.
