Default Seat material differ from trim levels

So i recently brought home a 2017 NX Special Edition with the premium package. I also have a 2015 NX with the Luxury package, but comparing the two the seats in the premium package feels softer and more plush. The seats in the luxury package feels harder/stiffer. Has anyone else noticed this? or does the different in the model year has to do with it.

The seat material in the Premium package is NuLuxe. With the Luxury package, the seat material is the Lexus standard leather. NuLuxe does actually have a softer feel to it than the standard leather. The semi-aniline leather available on many Lexus models (not available on the NX) is actually much softer than the standard leather, too.
