Default F-sport foot rest

Can anyone confirm this is the part used in the NX F-sport?
Part number 58192-53061.

I wanted to install this on my base nx and was told the nx f sport dead pedal is integrated into the carpeting (not a separate part). The part you are referencing is possibly from the IS model not NX..I ended up ordering some cheap ebay generic dead pedal that I plan to just velcro/gorilla glue on top of the black rubber dead pedal.. For the gas and brake pedal I found cheap fsport nx knock offs on ebay that I will just slip on..

I asked about this a year or so back. See this thread.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...ead-pedal.html

That part number will NOT work at all on the NX. The F sport dead pedal is integrated into the carpet for some stupid reason... I swapped out the pedals but don't have the dead pedal which sucks but it sure beats having the crappy looking plastic pedals.

That's a dumb design then.

Thanks for the reply though.

It really is a stupid design. Rather than them making the pedal removable like on pretty much all other models and be able to upgrade they went the silly route. I can't remember how much the fsport carpet was but I think it was $600 or so. So if you think the dead pedal is worth that, you'd be able to swap out the carpet...lol I didn't think it was worth it so spent the money on other mods.

Definitely not worth $600. But I might be able to make something of it...

By comparison, here's the F-Sport pedal integrated into the carpet that Nigel spoke of....

Really so odd. In my other cars (Volvo and Audi), pedal covers were accessories dealer installed at delivery. Fit and looked beautiful. Easy install. Why Lexus makes it so complicated is hard to understand.
