Question Rear bench seat removal- lost air pod

Hi all,
My daughter was sitting in the back seat and dropped her airpod. It went in a small opening between the seatbelt and the bench seat and I cannot figure out how to access it. I have no idea why there would be an opening there. only complaint about my otherwise perfect car.

Thanks
Cleve

Try tilting the seat back all the way forward (lay it flat) and go in from the rear of the car and look in that gap. I’ve found things that way in the past. If that doesn’t work, removing the seat base will probably be required. I’ve not done that yet.

It is super easy to pop off the bottom back seat. Have a look at my picture here to show you where the two clamps are - from the front of that seat at those spots just tug it up and once they release you can take off the whole seat in a matter of really seconds.
