I would be very interested in this information as well. My 2020 NX didn’t come with a power lift gate but I’d like to add it on if possible and would love to hear from anyone who has installed an aftermarket one. Thanks in advance!

I have a kit, shipped from Hong Kong, but haven’t installed. Lexus USA and local dealer are telling me that an install could void warranty on my 2019. Given all the electrical components in the car, I have not decided whether to install. Will update if I do install.

Dealers are full of crap, your warranty can't be voided for installing aftermarket parts, look up the Magnuson-Moss act. The dealer would have to prove whatever you did caused a specific part to fail, and that individual part could then be excluded from warranty coverage, not your full warranty.

Thanks for that info. I read the outline for the Magnuson-Moss Act and appreciate that input. I think I’ll go ahead and install.

2015 NX 200t liftgate. I have had a variety of unusual operations and misoperations of the rear liftgate. Does anyone have an electrical drawing and know what inputs are driving what sequences in the software?

No. It was for my daughters NX and she was put off by the "threat" that Lexus would not honor warranty.

If it's an OEM system, it's not worth it anyways. The damn thing is so slow compared to other vehicles.
