Looking for a part...
I noticed this part on my new NX F-Sport has been scraped. I don't remember doing it and only noticed it after Xpel protection film was applied. I think they may have done it. Regardless, it appears to be a small plastic piece that clips on. Right up near the driver's side of the windshield by the door jam. I can't find the part online, nor do I know the part number. Can anyone help by looking at this photo? Thanks in advance!

Cowl side seal
Lexus calls this the "front fender to cowl side seal" in their service literature. Take your photo to a nearby dealer parts department and ask them to look up the part # on their microfiche/computer.

Cancel that suggestion . . . I think I found it (except you want the Left one):

Yes, that's it. Thanks man, with this image I was able to find the part, I think it's this:

Where did you find this image? Are there install instructions? It looks like it is clipped in, I wonder if I could replace it myself. The part is very cheap.
Thanks!

Would the left one be the driver's side? Or would it be right? I wonder if they use the perspective from looking at the hood or a behind the wheel perspective to determine left or right?

Cowl assembly parts
When I scroll down on the page you linked to, the part position is "Right".
The image I copied above seems to clarify which is which. I think you want the Left side (part #53867).

I have some of the factory repair manuals. Unlike the nice detailed manuals I was able to obtain for my 2005 Toyota Avalon, these are cryptic and much less detailed. They rely on drawings instead of words to convey remove/install instructions. I suppose that avoids having to translate the manual into numerous languages. In any case, the challenge is usually removing a part without breaking it, not installing it. Installation is easier, as just about everything on today's cars is meant to snap in, to reduce assembly labor time.
