Oil change interval

What if I told you that there is data that suggests changing your oil too much is detrimental - especially in turbo engines with DI? Turns out oil volatility is highest at the beginning of the OCI and that it stabilizes after a few thousand miles. The volatile components of oil "boil off" and are picked up by the PCV system and returned to the intake manifold and they contribute to deposits on the intake valve. By changing your oil too often a greater % of time is spent with the oil experiencing it's greatest volatility....

Well! You learn something new every day!! I'll have to change (pardon the pun) my thoughts about Synthetic Oil!! I have no reason to doubt what you say, so I'll have to unlearn what I have held as gospel for the last 60 years!! Another thing that makes me realize how time changes everything!!
I spent 35+ years (1982 until 2010) years owning (and working on) classic Muscle cars. I finally stepped up to a modern car,a 2001 Honda Accord for my wife, as well as a 67 Mustang Fastback for me!. Since then I am still amazed in the technology of the "new" cars. Ever since Fuel Injection and Solid State Ignition (I can remember "stepping up" my ignition system by installing Petronix electronic points in my distributor) became mainstream, I have been LOST!!!! To me, I look under a hood today and see a suitcase where a real live motor used to be! LOL
Man, it's TOUGH getting old!!!!!
Thanks,
Jay
