On the IS forums they talk about it but our 2017 NX has hot spots on the back of the seats that warm the back instead of cool it.. I can run the AC on high but the seat backs stay warm.

I've noticed the effect while on vacation in southern Europe. The seats does not have their own cooling source. It's just fans blowing cabin air in the seats.
I've seen the iPhone box mod and might work something like that out.

If you direct the ac to the floor and dash vents it will help cool the seats.
