Default Considering 2016/17 NX200t

I am pretty much settled on one of the following between the NX200t, ES350, or an Acura RDX

I feel from a reliability and smoothness of drive, the 3.5L V6 on the ES and the RDX are very appealing. Having rented an NX200t in Europe, it does not feel as nimble of a car as the styling/configuration would have you believe, the turning radius feels pretty wide and at speed it does feel a little nervous (maybe shorter wheelbase, but my car is presently a GS so I am aware of the unfair comparison)

Interested in getting personal experience of the forum members regarding the reliability, safety, drive-ability of the NX200t, especially in snow. or if any NX200t owners have insights to compare directly to either the ES or RDX (if you have have experience with these other vehicles please, no hearsay as Google gives me plenty of "some guy has issues" or "my cousin says its the same as a Rav4")

This will be a 2nd vehicle in the family, and will be city driven mainly (~15Km per day) in Toronto winters (think metal eating salt, and the occasional deep snow that gets plowed way later than it should because apparently we don't pay enough taxes). Wife and kids will be in it most of the time it so safety is a concern, with that respect both the ES and the RDX seem to score higher on airbags and safety features.

If your other car is a sedan get suv or vice versa..Between rdx and nx. Nx wins hands down. more reliable and more resale value. Honda/Acura having many issues with their turbos. Check their forums/google . If leasing get Rdx. Buying get Nx.

Cannot compare the NX to the ES, sedans will always drive and ride differently from SUVs. With that said, my wife has a 2018 NX300 and my sister has a 2016 RDX. The NX handles better but ride stiffer, engine wise, I would say they are about a tie, both are average at best as far as performance. The NX is build better and have better material. Cannot go wrong with either car.

They're all about equally as safe.

If I were to pick, given your snowy situations, and overall concern for safety, I'd go for the NX just cause it's a bit higher off the ground and probably has AWD, right?

Acura would be my third choice. i really don't like the tech design and engineering of modern Acuras. lackluster all around.

I'm don't really care for Honda's direct fuel injection vehicles.

I'm looking at going from a ct200 to a nx. How do you think your nx is in regards to interior space?

These are very different vehicles. The NX Is significantly larger and roomier than the CT. Really a whole different level in terms of space. I would also look at the UX as a replacement to the CT, which also has quite a bit more interior space than the CT. Anyway, the NX has considerably more rear seat room than the CT and can accommodate average height adults quite easily (unlike the CT). The rear cargo space of the NX has at least double, maybe triple the cargo space of the CT.

The cargo space on the CT was so laughably small compared to other hatches. I'll have to check the UX out as well.
