Hello everyone. With Lexus adding Waze to the 2020 NX apps (built in app suite, not Apple Car Play/Android Auto), what does everyone think the odds are that it will be added as an update for the 2019's?

Surprisingly, even though I have an iPhone and like Apple CarPlay, I like the wireless App Suite 2.0 and the factory infotainment too. It would be nice to have the Waze maps however.

common sense from a mfgr pov is why update something with possibility of breaking/causing problems....one software update if done wrong could cause catastrophy. too risky.

if I go on a trip I just bring my ipad/phone.

Lexus very rarely if ever will add a feature from a new model to an older model.

Doesn't seem like adding an app would be difficult. They've actually removed apps. They also upgraded 2018/2019 with Apple Car Play.
