Wireless Apple CarPlay add-on from CarPlay2Air - Anyone ?

$231 Canadian? Holy crap that's a lot for a dongle. I've seen some mixed reviews on YouTube so I'm going to wait and see. I can't totally trust the reviews on the seller's own website for obvious reasons.

Don’t forget that more than 30% goes in the money exchange rate. Anyway, was worth it for me, but that is a personal choice as some would invest 1K in mag wheels while I spend 200$ on a dongle... but that's me and BTW I don't juge anyone investing in mag wheels , I have invested myself in winter mags for my winter tires...
Maybe not but out of 700 reviews I would tend to think that most are real.
BTW There is a very similar product on Amazon and others called Carlinkit and get not so good reviews for some cars but basically it is the same products. I think Carlinkit is the original product and CarPlay2Air is a rebranding.
Also, on some YouTube reviews I watched, some authors were afraid that any Apple's update would "destroy" the wireless connection ... As I mentioned previously, installed with iOS 13.3.1 and just updated to March 24th update of iOS (13.4) and all is still running smooth
Anyway, if you don't trust the reviews on the seller's website, you can trust me... if you want

Awesome that you bought one and it does in fact work! Great info for the community. I would buy this for my wife's NX had Lexus not decided to remove the wireless charging from the console... smh. Because she would have to plug the phone in anyways to charge I think she's completely ok to have wired carplay. I still wonder why Lexus/Toyota do some of the things they do to their "luxury" to cut costs...when it impacts functionality for the end user. It's annoying af sometimes.

Just a quick update, happy to share that Apple’s iOS was updated to 13.5 and I updated my iPhone 8 last week without any issue, CarPlay2Air Is still running strong even without an update of their own (their last update is from January).

Updated the dongle firmware to July 2020 version yesterday. worked ok. Check for update again and it mentioned that I needed to install June update for some reason. Did that, however, dongle now dead. Anyone knows if it is possible to reset dongle to factory settings, or force a firmware update? Tks

Following your experience and what I read, I would suggest NO ONE SHOULD UPDATE their device now.
