I have noticed that my 2019 NX300 base model has has begun to make a strange sound that comes and goes when I stop and am at idle (like at a traffic light) every time I'm out driving it. The sound is almost like that of a diesel engine at low volume. You cab't even hear it if the radio is turned up. It only lasts for a few seconds and then goes away, but it often comes back again if I just sit and wait. It never lasts more than a few seconds. It does it even if the air conditioner is off so it's not that. I tried a little fan belt spray but that did nothing. I have no idea what is causing it. I only have 10,000 miles on the car. If anyone has heard this on their car and knows what it is please let me know. I would like to have something intelligent to say before I take it to the dealer.
