Hi everyone,
For last couple months, I have noticed that there is a rattling noise by the passenger side of my 2019 NX. On someone else's related post, they indicated that the problem might've originated from the seat belt buckle hitting the pillar making the rattling noise. However, I have ruled out that this is the issue while I was trying to find the source of the rattle. The rattle seems like it's coming by the chair or the door area of the passenger side. I'm not sure if there is anything to be fixed or if this is a "characteristic" of this car.
Thank you for reading and your inputs!

Are you sure it is inside the car? I traced my noise to loose plastic pieces under the car, They are held in place by plastic pop rivets, try wedging something between the body and panel.

Dear JermSJ,
Have you concluded the passanger side rattle in your Lexus NX? I have the same issue. I think it may be caused by the electric panel under your seat. When seat is occupied, the panel is stiff, but when seat stays unloaded, the panel is shaking. The electricity connectors (airbag, seatbelt sensors etc.) cause the vibrating sound.
I am not 100% sure about it. I also try to conclude the issue to have it fixed under the warranty.

I have a 2018 NX300 and also have a passenger side, rear, rattle. Seems to me to more likely be caused by something hitting or being hit by an exhaust system component. Have not yet asked the dealer to investigate; I don't care to spend $189 for them to look, then charge me more to fix.
