Default battery charging

Hi All,

just wondering if anyone know what type of batteries 2018 nx300 has? wanted to put a tender on the car and slow trickle charge it but wondering if it's regular lead acid, agm or potentially lithium

Regular lead acid on the non-hybrid NX's. Any ol' 12v battery charger will do the job.

awesome , thanks so much. do i hook the tender to the battery itself or to the positive in fuse box and just find a ground?

i also called service department, they said on battery itself is fine however i saw in the manual to disconnect the negative which i also asked service department but they said not needed

I've always just thrown it right on the battery terminals...the reason they say not to is off gassing from the battery can be explosive, but it's really rare and usually only if the battery is overcharged or damaged.
