Radio question ??
New to this forum and to Lexus. I recently purchased a 2016 nx300h and was wondering why when the vehicle is shut off and started again the radio does not come back on without telling it to do so, and also it goes to disk problem and then nothing until you put in a prompt. Is this normal or is something not set up right? I’m not the sharpest pin in the pile when it comes to this new electronic age but I should be able to operate a radio.

My 2016 returns to the audio setting where I left it when I shut the vehicle off. I cannot recall a setting that would result in the behavior you are reporting. Furthermore, I have never seen the “disk problem” message and I’m afraid I don’t have anything to offer there. It sounds to me like there may be a problem with your head unit.
