using google maps with bt while listening to radio stations

The various Navigation Apps: Waze/Google/Apple use a bit more device battery power than
other less cloud intensive apps. While cordless ACP & AA might save a moment coming and
going I would prefer to have more battery life during my workday. (just replaced a iPhone 6...).
Having a cord routed and ready suits us and the media bandwidth is better than BT also, right?
