Default Stain underneath air vent (Help)

So the air freshener on the a/c vent somehow leaked its liquid overnight and it seems to have solidified onto the plastic. I'm too afraid to try and pull it off and end up pulling off part of the plastic and having a crater in its place.

What can I try? WD40? Rubbing alcohol? Would the dealer be able to do something about it? Any suggestions welcome.

Try a blow dryer. Start on low heat and see what happens. If it loosens it and softens, then you can remove the bulk of it.

that sure looks like it literally ate away the top layer of the plastic already.

Wonder which brand air refresher u were using? looks pretty toxic to me that can eat through plastic. Imagine u inhale it every day.
