Lexus Smart Stop Technology on 2021 NX (gas)
Hello,
Does the GAS version of the 2021 NX come with Lexus Smart Stop Technology?
If so, can I easily disable it (i.e. via pushing a button)? If so, do I have to disable it every time I start the car?
I am not a fan of that feature at all, and I would really prefer NOT to buy a car that I can't disable it.

Are you referring to the engine start/stop that shuts down at like red lights?
Smart Stop is a different technology in Lexus lingo which refers to canceling out/minimize the accelerator pedal input when the brake is also depressed.
If you're referring to engine start/stop, then you have to disable it each time you start the car typically. But I do not believe the NX gas model has this to begin with, so nothing to turn off.

Ahhh. I was wrong. It is NOT the "Start Stop Technology".
Whatever it is called, it is the feature that stops the engine when you are stopped at a light, and then restarts it when you proceed forward.

the regular NX doesn't do this, only the hybrid models do that as it has a secondary battery.
