Default Where to run amp power wire?

Im installing an aftermarket amp and sub and everything was going well until I had to run the power wire from the engine bay to the back of the car. I cannot find anywhere where I can put it through. Anyone has any tips or hopefully pictures that might help? Thank you

You will have to remove the wiper arms, wiper motor and the windshield cowl. There is a rubber Gromit where you can run the amp wire past the firewall.

Here is the instructions I got from another member on this forum on how to install the trailer wire harness, I followed most of these steps to remove all the panels and running the wire is similar to running the amp wire. I wouldn’t have been able to do it myself without these instructions. Best of luck with the install

It is quite time consuming to remove all the panels but it is not difficult, you could do it in one full day but I slowly worked in it over a few days. The most time consuming part would be removing all panels in the trunk to get to the amp. I would say it’s worth saving the $3-400 by getting it installed by a shop.

Thanks Danny200t, that was definitely helpful. I also did it a bit one day and some another and I’m finally done.

For those doing this too, another option is popping through on the passenger side. All you have to remove it the glove box and maybe flip the wire harness over while you drill it. If its just a 10Guage you can use the factory grommet (Red / yellow below) , I upgraded everything to 2Gauge so I hade to make my own.
