PKSA randomly beeps while driving and having an error
I bought my car just this year 2020 NX300 and I'm having the PKSA randomly going off while driving. I had to turn it off because it was dangerous while driving when it suddenly beeps out of nowhere.
I asked my dealer they said they might charge me 175$ per hour for the diagnostic unless its proven to be manufacturer fault. That's just for the diagnostic and not even the cost of repairs they plan to charge me.
how do they even determine if its manufacturer's fault? I even bought platinum extra warranty, isnt it called warranty for a reason? I don't have any driving accident record.
This is my first car and I have no idea how dealership actually works, is this standard procedure for all dealerships?
I have a bad experience with this dealership when I got scammed with another issue and I already complained them at the corporate and every time I visit, these guys are giving me a stink eye as if they want to punch me.

Sounds like utter nonsense & B.S.. A brand new Lexus comes with a 4 year 50k "Bumper to Bumper" warranty which basically means EVERYTHING is covered.
Now, if you smashed into a pole and damaged one of the sensors that might be a different story.....
Physical damage you cause wouldn't be covered.
It definitely doesn't sound like it is something you could have caused.
Remember, if the dealer tries to screw you over., there's always the ability to call Lexus corporate & complain.
Lastly, you could always have it serviced at another Lexus dealer if they don't treat you right
