Default Programming the TPMS sensors failed.

Hello. He tries to add a new set of sensors to his nx300h, but receives the message "ID registration failed due to a communication error with the ECU while in initialization mode". I have a MINI VCI J2534 ver. 1.4.1 I even tried the option with connecting the TC and CG pins, in my case it doesn't work. Is it possible to add sensors (PMV-C210) at all with this cable?

Some of the Mini VCI cables aren't fully compliant and can only read, they won't write. I've got one kicking around like that which doesn't work. You need to buy the far more expensive ones or just get a dedicated TPMS tool (e.g. Autel TS501/508).

Thanks for the message. My Mini VCI cable saves something when it comes to changing parameters, I changed, for example, window control and door lock options, and I changed it with this cable. On the other hand, TPMS programming certainly does not support it anymore and, as you say, you need another cable. Could you recommend any other cable at a reasonable price because the device you propose (Autel TS501 / 508) is too expensive.

Any of the VCI interfaces I've seen that actually will work are as much as the Autel scan tool....otherwise it's hit and miss and there are so many clones of clones that you can't even rely on reviews to know for sure what you'll end up with.

I was looking for other tips on TPMS programming and I found suggestions for such equipment https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/40013...c00w4R28b&mp=1 . Maybe it can be used to install sensors?
