New Owner - hopefully simple questions
2019 Sport from CPO program. I have searched the audio manual and no luck. Obviously the user interface is not much help but here goes.
Hopefully someone can help.
1. I have the non navigation 8" screen. I do not want a split screen for Home. Is this possible. The manual seems to imply it is for the 10" screen
2. How do I avoid the Home screen when I start the car. I want the Radio screen to show up instead of the Home screen. I am getting tired of using the
touchpad to change to Radio every time I get in the car.
Hopefully someone can help.

I also have a 2019 F Sport non-nav 8” screen. I was looking for the same thing too but you can only have a split screen. So I ended up with Home Screen of AC on the left and radio on the right. However, I don’t touch the trackpad. It just goes there after I start the car.

Yeah - finally figured out that Lexus had some pretty poor designers and thus - we know what you want and you will get a split screen. Nothing like I expected. Stopped by the dealer and the tech specialist confirmed that you have to choose two screen. Which really isn;t a problem - the problem is they only gave you four items to choose from and radio is the only one I want to see.

Noticed that too, doesn't bother the wife, but I switch to radio or other audio source as needed. I did find an option to either have 2 or 3 screens on the startup, as well as their position, but its just too much info for me.

The 2019 models had a strange Infotainment system programs.

You don't have to use the touchpad to select Radio, just press the hard button
Radio for those sources Outside the car, AM/FM/XM. Press the Media button
for any sources Inside the car, BT/AUX/CD.
Note: the steering wheel button "Mode" will cycle through all of them but it is
more useful when pressed and held, that will Mute the Radio and Pause any
media playback.

I actually use the radio button as described. It's the Home screen that is REQUIRED to have a minimum of two items that I can't stand. Another example of some
goofball programmer deciding they know more than the customer

while on the radio topic is there any way to limit the start up volume of the radio ? Its been a stanard feature on my last few vehicles, haven't seen it in the varied menus. I listen a little louder at night, and jump out of my skin when I take it in the morning.. The wife already complained, which has to be avoided at all costs.
