I have 2019 NX300. Is it just me or these front ventilated seats are no better than regular seats without.
I took it to a dealer the other day as I didn't feel any air coming out or getting sucked in. My seats didn't feel cooled with with the max setting on. To prove my issue, I tested them by holding a thin tissue paper over the holes with AC on and max setting on. The paper stayed unmoved. We have RX and it definitely sucked the paper in for both the bottom and the back.
Well, I got my car back from the dealer saying everything is working as designed and they found nothing wrong.
Have you turned on the seat ventilator blowers (switch circled in red in the attached image)?
On my 2019 NX, the seat blowers have 3 speeds, indicated by the cluster of LEDs marked with a green ellipse. These LEDs also indicate the 3 seat heater settings (when the left switch is On).
My wife's NX does not move much air through the seats at all. We took it to our local Lexus dealer who said that is how they are and are within factory spec. So the ventilated seat feature is basically worthless in the NX

Hey thanks for your pic and explanation!
Yes, I am very aware of the settings and how they work. Even with the ventilator switches on and at level 3, both front seats don't work.

I bet when those service reps got trained, they were programmed to say those exact words when something does not work and they cannot fix it..lol
I couldn't find it tonight. But there was an old thread somewhere on Clublexus. Someone designed and had 3D printed an air duct. It covered the center console rear A/C outlet. Then directed it down to the floor. Then turned under the drivers seat. Pointed at the seat fan.
