Hi All, so I have a 2021 Lexus. Yesterday I carrying a few furniture boxes in the trunk and while removing one of the larger boxes, it ended up hitting this little square panel on the left side of vehicle. Panel came off and I could see some white foam and a cable behind it.
My question is, could I’ve possibly disconnected something in there? Or damaged anything? Was tired in the evening and put the panel right on when I saw it come off. No visible damage from the outside but was wondering if anything could be internal. Worried I might damage the panel if I remove it.

If this is the panel you are describing (marked with a red circle in the attached image), I have intentionally removed it to access the wiring to the power port.
Its intent appears to provide emergency access to the fuel door release, in case the electrical lock fails and you need to add fuel to the tank.
I doubt very much if you damaged anything; just pop the cover back on and forget about it.

Thanks. Yeah that was the panel. I got extremely worried when I saw that come off. I couldn’t find anything about it online so posted here. It’s not even mentioned in the manual.
Is there an easy way to remove it without damaging the panel itself?
