17 NX200t Headlight issue.
Hello. Thanks in advance for your advice/help.
I have no headlight or bright light on the passengers side of my nx200t suv. I noticed the drivers side has a different power connection close to the large light gray circular cap on side of light enclose. But the passengers side has the wire connection on the bottom of the light enclosure. The two light enclosure are wired completely different, IS THIS NORMAL? I can tell the front bumper is not oem and has been replaced, I am wondering if they replaced the light enclosures with the wrong wiring in the lights? I removed both light enclosures off and hooked up the wires on the passengers side to the light enclosure from the drivers side to test the actual lights and they work, so I know I have power just not the correct connections on the passenger side light enclosure.
Maybe i just need to go to junk yard and change out the wire harness in the passenger side light enclosure?
Wierd thing is all the light enclosures I see on ebay for the passenger side are similar to what I currently have.... Very strange.
Help....

Is this a recent failure and the passenger headlight previously functioned?
Does the connector you are describing have 2 pins, 5 pins, or 24 pins?
The wiring diagram indicates 2 different headlights were available on the 2015-2017 NX200T, one with LED high beam, and the other with halogen high beam. Both have LED low beam. However, both styles are powered by the same 24 pin connector (labeled A19 and A20 in the diagram), as are both the driver and passenger side.
When I look at recent Ebay passenger side NX200T headlight offerings, I see one style with a 5 pin connector on the rear, and another without it.

After much research on these headlights, there are two different wirings for these headlights on this vehicle. One has a 24 pin connector on the bottom of the enclosure, one has the 5 pin connector in the back of enclosure with a 2 pin connector for running light. My drivers side works perfectly and has the 5 pin/2pin connection wire set up and connects to the headlight and running light. No 24 pin on bottom of enclosure.
The passengers side has the same wire connections (5 pin for actual headlight/2 pin for the running light) that is on the vehicle. The light enclosure has a 24 pin connector on the bottom of it but my wire connectors on my vehicle do not work with this type of headlight. The previous owners must of purchased a different headlight enclosure when their replaced the lights and front bumper. They probably couldnt figure out why the light didnt work on that side of vehcile so they traded it in, thats where I come in. I purchased the correct headlight enclosure on Ebay and am waiting for it to come in.
It will be nice to get this fixed correctly. I am hoping this forum and this thread will help someone else in the future as I couldnt find any info on this matter.

I ran across the same issue on my wife's 2017 NX300h. To get the single LED lights to work in the Earlier split LED/Halogen high wiring, you need to rewire the headlight. One pin needs to be moved. Pin 2(SOL) needs to move to Pin 1 (L). Everything else is the same and the diagnostics are happy.
Sorry it didn't help you out earlier, hopefully it'll help someone else out in the future.
