Default Strong exhaust fume normal for nx 300?

I usually have my 2019 NX300 idling for about 5-10 minutes in my garage with the door opened before I drive it out. I noticed that its exhaust fume is pretty strong (just normal exhaust smell, not gas, coolant or oil burning smell). Is this normal for all NX300s?

I didn't notice any leak on the floor and my last maintenance diagnostics test came out clean. I can't remember if it always smelled this bad. I only have 21,000 miles on it.

Do you think there is an issue? If normal, any advice on how I can reduce the smell? Thanks!

Are you noticing any misfires? This is the only time you can really get a strong fume in my experience. Also why octane gas do you run?

No, I didn't notice any misfires, unless it is hard to detect. I mean, I didn't notice any usual behavior coming from the engine. I've always used the premium gasoline.

Do you have a carbon monoxide detector in your garage? I alway pull the NX out of the garage when we want to warm it up in the winter.

Interesting, I can't see many other reasons for this unless your cat is bad but odds of that are very slim and you'd usually get low efficiency codes.

Some obvious ideas:

1 - Have you changed gas stations recently? Last fill-up?
2 - Did you introduce any chemical into your tank like fuel injector cleaner, etc.?
3 - How long have you had the vehicle? Did you have it appx 10 months ago when the outside temperature is appx. what it is now?
4 - Did you have any fuel or ignition components changed recently?
5 - Was ANY work performed on your car recently?

Thanks for your reply! See my answers below.

One other thing that I noticed was that, maybe it is normal for NX300, its exhaust sound is more deep and low that kind of vibrates inside of my garage. It sounds pretty similar to low bass sound coming from a speaker. I didn't notice any holes or leaks on exhaust pipes.

2 - Did you introduce any chemical into your tank like fuel injector cleaner, etc.? No additives were ever used.
3 - How long have you had the vehicle? Did you have it appx 10 months ago when the outside temperature is appx. what it is now? I purchased it when it was summer, but now it is winter. Summer Avg temp is 90s vs 50s now.
4 - Did you have any fuel or ignition components changed recently? No nothing was changed.
5 - Was ANY work performed on your car recently? No work was performed, just an oil change.

A change in the exhaust tone, combined with increased odor, raises the possibility of an exhaust leak located close to the engine, and not visible from below. Pay particular attention to the regions marked *2, *3, and *4 in the attached drawing.

n0v8or suggestion sounds good.
FYI..My engine/exhaust is SO QUIET...I've actually walked away from my NX with the motor running TWICE already in the 10 months I've owned it! SUPER quiet inside and out!

Thanks for this illustration. I will have the dealer check them out on my next appointment.
