We are in the 3rd week of owning the 2016 NX200t F Sport. Some interesting quirks I am learning to adapt to that Lexus has lol but one think I am surprised is how much of a rattle the Rear Subwoofer has, it seems like its from the license plate, and when I am outside the car, you definitely here the plate rattle but even inside you hear it, I turned the bass way down which sucks that I have to do that but still does it, Drives my wife crazy.

On such a high end SUV, why they put the Subwoofer right in the liftgate next to the plate is beyond me. Anyone find a easy way to eliminate this issue?

Just remove your license plate and use those 3m foam tape on the car around the license plate. should eliminate any gap between the car and the plate.

Have you done this? Which thickness tape did you use? When I remove the tag there are 4 small square foam pads but that seems to be from the factory and does nothing.

You need Dynamat/Sound Deadening by the license plate. I disconnected the factory subwoofer and added a 10" Kicker L7 and it was even worse without sound deadening.
