When my 2020 NX300 fuel warning comes on the tank will only take 10 gallons. If I run until the fuel gauge is below the E the tank only holds 13 gallons. Yet the tank is rated 15.9 gallons. Does anyone have a suggestion to make the gauge and warning more accurate….realistic? I have had the car for 9,000 miles/6 months and have never put in more than 13 gallons.

Most cars will have the extra 2-3 gal of gas left as a buffer zone.
Plus, you wouldn't to run it completely dry since the fuel pump is in the gas tank to help it cool. Otherwise, it can harm your fuel pump.
