Default NX300 Bass Issue

I have a 2021 NX300 and no matter what I do, the bass is always quiet. I tried adjusting the fader and yet it’s still weaker than a 2016 Prius. Anyone know why that is and how to fix it?

Fader will only adjust front/rear balance. Have you turning up bass and treble settings?

While the NX trunk lid sub isn't by any means powerful, I can tell it's there, so if you're saying that it's quiet either your settings are off or your input signal/volume is too low.

There is a setting for the SURROUND SOUND, which, when in the "ON" position is giving me a much, much better sound overall. You might want to check it. Of course, it's possible you don't have the same system that I have. I have the 2020, but I do not have the lowest level of sound system, nor do I have the highest level (i.e. Mark Levenson). The system I have is called "Lexus 8-speaker Premium Sound System".

This setting is found if you go to the "AUDIO" screen, then choose "SOUND". You should then see 4 items on the menu as follows:

a - Treble/Mid/Bass
B - Fader/Balance
C - Automatic Sound Levelizer
D - Surround

The last one, "Surround" is the one you would want to play with. Turn it ON if it already isn't, and see how it sounds.
