Activity Mount + Platform Bike Rack
I have the Lexus activity mount installed a while ago. However, the hitch is recessed behind the bumper quite a lot. The distance between the hitch pin hole and the bumper is 6 inches long. I am shopping for a 2 bike platform rack. Thule T2 Pro XTR only has 6.25 inches clearance when the rack is folded up. I wonder if the 0.25 inches is enough for the rack not touching the trunk.
Does anyone have a 2 bike platform rack that works well with the Lexus activity mount?

You could always add a 6 in extension for about $30. You can get it in both 1 1/4 to 1 1/4 in or 2 1/2 to 2 1/2 or even 1 1/4 to 2 1/2. Yes it moves the tongue weight and changes the amount you can carry but I don’t think the bikes and racks are enough wait to make a different. I haven’t gotten my activity mount yet, but I like that it is hidden and was told that it still works with the foot sensor for the rear door. Plus having it an extra 6 inches away from my car is a bonus.
Here are examples of the adapter https://www.walmart.com/ip/TowSmart-...2-in/806904049 or the the extender https://www.walmart.com/ip/CURT-4578...0-lbs/48360651 .

Thanks for the suggestion!
I'm trying to avoid using the extension bar if possible. The activity mount is rated for 150lb at 16 inches away from the pin hole. A typical platform bike rack is about 50lb. I plan to carry one 50lb e-bike and a 35lb mountain bike. The total weight is already 135lb. I'm sure the center of weight on a platform rack is farther than 16 inches.

I finally bought the Thule EasyFold XT and that fits into the activity mount without using any extension. The only problem is the bikes are blocking the turn signals.

An option would be to perform the trailer wiring and then buy a couple of small led trailer lights and attach them to the rack to compensate for the turn signals/brake lights. You can get a set like these -> Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights CURT Accessories and Parts C53201 (etrailer.com)
Looks like someone with the same rack did that in their customer reviews/images.

Thanks much, appreciate the photos. See what you mean by the bikes blocking the lights!
To be honest, I'm not fond of this. The one I had on my RX was hidden save for the actual receiver box. The Curt and I believe Drawtite are the same as this. I may not have a choice, though, if this is the way they come. I had heard of another stealthy hidden type hitch, will look that up. But recall it was really expensive.
