Hey guys, i took delivery two days ago. Noticed this today. Is this normal? What does yours look like? Should i bother getting it fixed? Is it even fixable?
Far from normal, you can see broken clips on your second picture.
The QC inspector was on coffee break on this one (or somebody at the dealership has done something weird pre-delivery)
From the pictures it looks like you have the right hand drive, but regardless that’s definitely not normal. I myself am hypersensitive to the slightest inconsistencies so I’ve looked at many identical NX models and trims. There is a spot that I’ve seen on other models where the trim is not completely flush on the gloss piece around the eco-sport mode dial (I can send a pic if you want).
Not sure if it’s a quality control issue or PDI. Should be an easy fix, dealer will just have to order new trim pieces.
Oh cool, if you got photos it would be good reference.
ive looked at that spot for a long time and it does look like a difficult angle to do these trims completely flush.
But then again, maybe they shouldve thought it through...lol
