Default 2023 350H vs 2024 450H+ Interior Palomino

This weekend my parents were here with their new 2024 NX450H+ (U.S. Luxury, excuse their mess haha since they came back from the beach). We were basically their Tier 3 support and helped them get some new ceramic tints too since they loved ours. I haven't seen the new 2024 in person before with the new interior changes, and took the opportunity to take some side-by-side with our 2023 NX350H (U.S. Lux) since we both have the palomino interior. Everything interior wise is virtually the same except that glove box and that passenger knee-trim piece. Am indifferent between the two (especially with the glove box being in Palomino color-matched).

Also to note - since their 450H+ was from Japan, I really looked at everything when it came to quality and build. No difference compared to ours from Cambridge, and our 350H has been perfect without any issues. Maybe it was their dealer who applied some extraneous stuff to their interior - but their 450H+ interior didn't smell 'new' like ours even after 500 or so miles.

Since their 450h+ did not have the panoramic roof - it was a noticeable difference immediately to me, just something different and didn't expect it to be that dramatic compared to ours. Definitely less 'airy' even with a light interior such as the palomino, since we keep our pano-roof open all the time after getting the ceramic tints on it. Before the 350H, we really wanted the 450h+ but it wasn't offered in our state. Thought I would really miss the dark wheels from the 450H+ and the PHEV capabilities, but with their OTD price and some options that their 450H+ didn't come with that mattered to me, I really don't feel like we missed out on anything. That ~$15k difference also made me miss nothing from the 450H+, although it is nice depending on usage. Was super curious about charging (their 450h+ has the 6.6KW charger) and over a standard 120V outlet, their 450h+ took about 11 ish hours to charge from about 20% to 100%. The 450H+ dark wheels are 'sportier', but it's definitely different. Seeing it in person, they looked smaller but it's probably with the lighting contrast and shade. Sure is way more easier to clean though.

More importantly though, don't feel like I missed anything out, so either the 2023 or 2024 interior wise are both great choices - just wanted to share some real-life pics of the difference between that new interior trim with the 2024

Is it the photo or my eyes. The 2023 ambient lighting on the passenger side is purple and the rest is blue. But overall, they both look good. The choice between 250/350/350h/450h+ all depends on your wants and needs. depends on what you priority list.

Oh it's definitely the photo and/or that ambient lighting I set in the 2023. Nothing wrong with your eyes . Think it was the 'Iceberg' ambient lighting profile. Or it's the white balance that's throwing off that lighter shade of white. I have noticed that too the footwells aren't that same blue but I like that it's different. Agree, all of them are great depending on wants/needs!!!
