2nd gen NX at risk of CAN injection theft?
#17
Does anyone have an answer to this? I found the only IGLA installer in the southeast region but would love to see if ghost II is available as well. Still deciding on which one to get.

No idea. Have there been a lot of NX's stolen there where you are? I haven't heard of any down south of you in Florida.
The threat bothers me but with no action I'm reluctant to fix something that may not be broke. But that's me.

The only way for Lexus or any company to take this seriously is if someone famous gets a hold of that hacking product and makes a video on how easy it is to steal a Lexus with that and then advises consumers on what to do, OR a class action lawsuit. I really hope Lexus discovers this and take this seriously and fix this early. So stressful having to deal with anti-theft (catalytic converters too, and 10 different ways of stealing a car and an evil world), it kills the enjoyment of the new purchase.
Trying to look into how to install a kill switch on a hybrid Toyota/lexus.

As of right now the IGLA and I assume the Ghost II won't work on the new 2024 NX. The changes made to the CAN bus hybrid for this model year is too different for it to work. I mentioned the hybrid vs the gas because when I went to have the IGLA system installed they were told that IGLA works with the 2023 NX Hybrid and the 2024 NX gas but the 2024 NH Hybrid still didn't work.
