Sadly it won't fit the 2024 350 Luxury. If there were welded brackets/loops for ties downs I'd be ok with a mini spare on the deck surface.

Yes. Closes flat.

What's different with the luxury storage compartment?

2024 350H here. Yes, the 12V is in the trunk lower right corner.

So if this happens to not be withing driving distance to where they have a run flat in your size in stock, you've got a problem.
Then just get it towed, no need to drive it that long on runflats

That's a very good point. You'd only need to drive it on it in an emergency where you couldn't get a tow.

I hit a pot hole and blew the tire with no road service for hours. A spare got me home. That's my concern.

exactly what I am gonna do once those darn RFs wears out. Buy a set of nice Michelins and a spare tire kits for long trips. I would rather lose trunk space then wait for roadside assistance for hours. If we need more storage down the road, i will go with a hitch and a cargo carrier.

I’m comfortable with RF’s and a spare.

For reference, here is a Canadian NX 250 video on Youtube that briefly shows the spare tire.
https://youtu.be/M-36GbMd9Gg?t=179

Looking at the spare wheel carrier parts diagram, it looks like you will need all 3 parts listed in the diagram.
https://parts.lexus.com/a/Lexus_2022...E420-5104.html

My only concern is that currently I do not see a hole where you would screw in the blue screw cap you see in the video. Looking at the parts diagram, there is a separate metal mounting piece that looks screwed/welded into the trunk where you would insert the blue screw cap into. I do not see this in my 350. In picture 3, the cutout in the foam cushion material seems specifically for this part. It looks like the Canadian 250 doesn't even have that foam cushion piece now that I re-watch the video. Looking in picture 4, you can see the divots where you would screw in this extra metal piece for the blue screw cap to go into.

I'm thinking the cushion part will do enough to keep the spare tire generally in place, but there is certainly potential for the tire to move around in the back and cause noise when making turns or going over bumps.
My 2015 NX300h had the battery in the back 12v but it also had a space saver spare back there. I just purchased a 2024 NX450h+ and really want a spare tire. A space saver not a full sized tire like Modern Spare is marketing. Is there any hope for me?

The Modern Spare tire is not a full size tire. Many spare tires "donuts" claim to only have a 50 mile range (similar to a run flat tire). The Modern Spare tire is more elusive and does not give a range that the tire can be used.

Lightbulb Modern Spare Spare is correct diameter

https://modernspare.com/product/2024...e-kit-options/ Yes it is the correct diameter. I got one jacked up the car and mounted it. When not full size the tire width is smaller than OEM.

Kumho T155/90R18 Even though 18 inch it has the same outside diameter as 20 inch and will work for either 18 inch or 20 inch OEM tires.

YMMV,

I simply put down a square piece of rubber mat and lay the modern spare right on it up against the back seats. Never an issue.

Also, it would be easy to take some type of spider net or velcro sheet to strap it down enough that it wouldn't fly away in an emergency stop.

The tread depth is not 2.5 inches-----------------------more like 5/32 which is normal on most temp spares.
